"À Medida Que Fomos Recuperando a Mãe", by Gonçalo Waddington, a short film produced by Terratreme Filmes and starring actor SIMÃO FUMEGA and the Kids BARTOLOMEU FIGUEIRA and MARTIM FUMEGA, premieres this week at the El Gouna Film Festival in Egypt. Shortly after the death of his wife, the father of four children is stuck in bed and in mourning until the house goes into self-management. The older children think about how to snap him out of his stupor; the eldest begins by imitating his mother's voice. Soon the play gets out of hand, as do the identities of each one.
