The first telefilm "Contado por Mulheres" (Told by Women), produced by Ukbar Filmes, was filmed in Ferreira do Zezere and directed by Sofia Teixeira Gomes, with a script by Ana Brito e Cunha, Valéria Carvalho and Mário Cunha, inspired by one of the short stories in the book "Prantos, amores e outros desvarios" by Teolinda Gersão.
